In this project, each student need to use two objects that are between the size of A4 and A5. The objects should consists of 3 different geometric surface, such as plan, elevations and sections. We are required to sketch and measure the objects that we had chosen.
The drawings are required:
- One plan
- Two elevations
- Two sections
- One detail drawing
The objects that I chose are stapler and nail cutter. After measuring the objects and observing the details, I started to draw the submission drawings. It took a lot of time for me to figure how to draw, especially the section drawings.
MY SUBMISSION DRAWINGS
Through this project, I was able to demonstrate my observation skills when sketching my object and also producing the detail sketches. Also, I learned basic techniques and skills of technical drawings such as lineweight and proper use of scaling.
After finishing this assignment, I feel that I still have a lot to learn about drawings. As practice makes perfect, so much more practice is needed for me.
