Basically, a coffee table book is is an over-sized, usually hard-covered book whose place is for display on a table intended for use in an area in which one would entertain guests and from which it can act to inspire conversation.
Through this whole project, we need to make one coffee table book individually. We are required to do a literature research on the place we choose. However, we also need to study the theme given.
The themes given are:
Malaysian Architecture
Fusion Architecture
Religious Place
Space and People
The Brief
I returned back to my hometown as my initial thought, but the outcome is not really good. So, I had changed the location to the street art at Shah Alam - Laman Seni 7. All the progress is documented in a special tab. Press the photo below to check it out.

My digital literacy had improved a lot when I create this coffee table book using computer software such as, InDesign and Photoshop. It gave me a sense of achievement as it is my first time to create a coffee table book.
Throughout this project, I really felt that creating a book is a huge task. It requires a lot of dedication, thoughtful arrangement of the layout and also critical thinking. Although the progress throughout this project is hard, but it's enjoyable in the meanwhile. Lastly, the experience that I gain is very valuable and I will pursue it to the more higher level in the future.
