The aim of the project is to acquire knowledge about design process and development. We are required to design the landscape for the site that we are doing in project 2. However, we will have basic exposure to concept, analysis, master plan, costing, planting plan, construction and maintenance in this project.
The Brief
It's an individual work for this project. For our presentation boards, we are required to included:
- Project description
- Location plan and key plan
- Bubble diagram
- Conceptual plan
- Schematic plan
- Master plan
- One elevation and one section drawings
- Hardscape and softscape palette
- Cost estimation and maintenance plan

I could not believe that I actually spent hours and hours on just six boards. Sometimes, things seem like they won't take a lot of time but they consume more time than expected.
From this project, I learnt a lot about the design process of landscaping and have better understanding on the basics in anatomy of a landscape project, regulations and maintenance in landscaping. I also learned how to think creatively and critically.
