EPC Project 2 - Mural Paintings

This project evaluates oral presentation and speaking skills. It also evaluates the student’s ability to research information and present an effective presentation of his/her research.

In a group of 6 to 8, we are required to choose any four mural paintings or steel artwork. The case study should be two from Penang and two from Klang Valley.

The Brief

Following the class trip to Penang, we had chosen two mural arts of Ernest Zacharevic which named 'Reaching Up' and 'Giant Roadwork Wizard' accordingly. However, we decided to go simple for the one in Klang Valley which located in Shah Alam.

'Seniman'

'Mural Depicting Life in School'

After getting back, we met up to make the presentation slides together. We would each take charge of each section and analyse, research and filter information about it that we'd like to present.

Our Presentation Slides

This mural art hunting is fun and amazing that had caught my eye to enjoy the beauty of street arts as well as understand what the artist tried to imply through non-verbal communication mostly.

In order to complete this project, effective communication and cooperation between members of a team is required. Moreover, I have learnt to  apply the principles of communication in analyzing interaction with others.
