English I - Assignment 2

The brief

The second assignment is about oral presentation. In this assignment, students are required to choose a topic on a modern architecture design that inspired by nature in a group of 5. My group had chosen to do on the topic about the "Redwood Treehouse". Each group members were given different sub-topic as our oral presentation, such as biomimicy, design principles and architect’s background, materials used and green features.

By doing this assignment, I realized that doing an oral presentation is a very good experience because it helped me understand more of on how to convey a message through speaking. Sometimes, important notes not only can read from an essay through words, but also from oral presentation which can picking up key words and emphasizing them from speaking. Also, organizing information is very important,  so that my oral presentation can come out fluently.
